The Dark Child Chance Prophet wowed fans at our March 30th debut at the Eastern Brown Middle School with an impressive win over Cody Hawk. However fans won’t be seeing Prophet in an SOW ring anytime soon as he has been sidelined with a knee injury that will put him on the shelf for six to nine months.
On his personal facebook, Prophet wrote “Surgery arrival time: 11:30am. I will not fear that which is meant to make me stronger and more whole physically. By this time tomorrow I’ll be resting. By this time 6-9 months from now, hopefully I’ll be wrestling.”
The 20 year veteran has had injuries before and doesn’t plan on this being the end of his in ring journey or his time within Southern Ohio Wrestling. He continued asking for fans to keep his family in their prayers. The surgery which took place last week was a complete success.
“Alive, but not kicking anytime soon.” He wrote following his surgery. “…thank you all for checking in. It was a long procedure and I’ve been resting a lot. I’m so thankful for the prayers and the support from my wife, mom, mother in-law, brother in-law, family, friends and fans.”
We at SOW Entertainment wish Joseph Nelson, also known as Chance Prophet a speedy recovery. Fans can reach out to him via his Facebook page here.
